Most Popular Ecomm Reports
Ecomm Reporting is great for understanding customer trends across various business use cases. Decile provides over 20 out-of-the-box reports to help you understand your customers, but the five below are the ones our clients are finding the most value from today!
First Purchase
The First Purchase report provides a view of your most popular acquisition products. The post-acquisition window in this report allows you to compare the performance of different products and identify which products are bringing in the highest-value customers long term.
Most Popular Report Use Case: Identifying Hero Acquisition Product
- 💡Pro Tip: In this report, the "Repurchase Rate" metric is overall not at the product level
Sequential Purchase
The Sequential Purchase report is useful for understanding your customer journey by product and identifying which product sequences are the most profitable.
Most Popular Report Use Case: Understanding the impact of new product launches on downstream customer behavior
- 💡Pro Tip: Changing the Purchase Rank filter to
"is any value"
will allow you to see your business's most popular product journeys.
Cohort LTR & Retention
The Cohort LTR & Retention report allows you to review cohort performance over time through key metrics such as Lifetime Revenue and Retention Rate.
Most Popular Report Use Case: Evaluating overall business performance
- 💡Pro Tip: Customers are only counted in the Customer Retention Rates chart if they have matured into it. Thus, the customer counts in that chart for the most recent cohort may appear lower than the actual. You can see the non-matured number in the Customers and Revenue chart at the bottom of the report.
Market Basket Analysis (MBA)
The Market Basket Analysis (MBA) helps you understand which products customers buy together.
Most Popular Use Case: Understand the impact of current bundle promotions on the business
- 💡Pro Tip: The "% of total purchases" metric reflects how many times that combination has been purchased from all transactions.
Event Period
The Event Period report allows you to understand the impact of seasonal or promotional events on your business at a given point in time. Within the dash, you will be able to compare new customers vs. returners and understand post-event metrics like repurchase rates.
Most Popular Use Case: Analyzing customer affinity for a new product launch
- 💡Pro Tip: The subsequent event period filter only impacts the Subsequent Products Purchased title at the bottom of the report.
