Klaviyo
This article covers the Decile x Klaviyo export integration. This connection allows brands to sync audiences from Decile to Klaviyo. Read more to learn how to set up the export integration and how to expect properties once they have been synced to Klaviyo.
Getting Started
Connecting your Klaviyo Account
- In Decile, navigate to the gear at the top of the page and select Integrations
- Under Klaviyo click “Getting Started”

Click “Connect Account,” and you will be redirected to Klaviyo to complete the authentication process.
NOTE: While we work through our submission to Klaviyo's Integration Directory, you may see a message “App has not been reviewed” during the authentication flow. You can safely click “Continue” at the prompt.
Once authorized, you will be directed back to your Decile account. You can confirm that the account was successfully connected on the Integrations by navigating back to the gear and selecting integrations.
Syncing to Klaviyo
Creating a Sync
- In Decile, navigate to the Audience Syncs page from the main nav under AUDIENCES → Syncs.
- Click the "New Sync" button top right from the Syncs page.
- From the dropdown in the Audience section, select the audience you want to sync to Klaviyo

From the dropdown in the Destination section, select Klaviyo for the destination then select the correct Klaviyo account from the dropdown.
Optional: Update the name specified for the Klaviyo profile property being synced.
- Click "New Sync" to initiate the sync. It can take between 24-48 hours for the sync to be complete.
Creating a Segment in Klaviyo
Decile Audiences synced to Klaviyo appear as custom properties on a customers profile.
- In your Klaviyo account, navigate to Audience > List & segments > Create New > Create Segment.
- On the Create Segment screen, choose “Properties about someone” in the “Definition” dropdown.
- Choose a Decile profile property under “Custom Properties” in the “Dimension” dropdown. The profile property created will have the name
Is in Decile Audiencefollowed by the name specified on the Audience Onboarding page. - Once selected, choose
is trueto segment to members of the audience.
Note: Future Decile audience syncs will update Klaviyo profiles to reflect the current membership of the customer within the Decile audience. Customers that fall out of the audience will have the Is in Decile Audience flag set to false .
